The Robertson Group was founded in the United States in 1906, it is mainly engaged in the production, research development and application of new energy-saving materials in buildings. And it was known as the ancestors of energy-saving buildings! In the 1990's, the Group was restructured, and the Asia-Pacific segment was acquired by Kanji Group, and established Australia Robertson, the Group's headquarters in Singapore.
In 2000, The Robertson Group entered the Chinese market and began to provide high corrosion-resistant sheet metal sheets in the field of power plants, specializing in providing customers with the best construction system solutions. In 2002, Kanji Group's Italian company Metecno invested in China to build two north-south production sites in Hangzhou and Langfang, with a total investment of US$20 million. The main production and sales of metal composite plate, is committed to new energy-saving building materials research and development, application and promotion.
In 2019 the Robertson Group, and the Italian Metecno Group which is known as the "King of Composite Sheets", have unified their Asian operations, further integrating the advantages of the two brands and establishing the Robertson-Matecno China Group (RMG), which is dedicated to building roof and wall systems, cold storage systems, industrial doors and other building energy-saving products. Robertson China headquarters is located in Beijing.
